Easy to use, it accompanies you on the climbs and allows you to fully enjoy the landscapes, while preserving the pleasure of pedaling. Along the trails, you cross fortified villages, canyons sculpted by the wind and high-altitude plateaus, with views of the Annapurna and Dhaulagiri massifs. Buddhist monasteries, chortens and prayer flags bear witness to the Tibetan heritage deeply rooted in this region. The stages of your journey
Highlights
Day-by-day itinerary

Welcome to Népal!
Upon your arrival at Tribhuvan International Airport in Kathmandu, you are welcomed and accompanied by our local representative.
A short car transfer then takes you to your hotel, where you can settle in and enjoy a moment of rest after your journey.

Free day in Kathmandu
Make the most of your free time in Kathmandu by browsing the shops in the Thamel district, buying local souvenirs or completing your trekking equipment. You can also treat yourself to a relaxing moment in a spa. For a more immersive experience, participate in a traditional craft workshop alongside local artisans. Discover the making of the Nepalese Khukuri, a traditional knife, or learn wood carving. Food enthusiasts can also share a cooking class with locals to learn how to prepare Nepalese specialties such as momos or Thakali dishes. These activities last between 2 and 4 hours, require booking at least two days in advance and are offered at varying rates depending on the experience chosen. Optionally, we can also arrange a flight over the Himalayan range, with an early morning departure at 6:30 am, for an additional fee.

Flight heading to the Annapurna
After breakfast, you are transferred to the domestic airport for a 30-minute flight to Pokhara. During this journey, you enjoy beautiful views of the Langtang ranges, the Manaslu and the Annapurnas. Upon arrival in Pokhara, you have a free day to discover the city at your own pace. You can enjoy a walk or bike ride along the lakeside, or rent a small rowing boat to appreciate the tranquility of the place. You also have the option to visit the Peace Pagoda, which offers a panorama over the valley below and the surrounding mountains.

First stage of the trip
You take a short scenic flight over the Annapurnas towards Jomsom. Upon arrival, our local team welcomes you with electric bikes, ready for the start of your itinerary through the Mustang landscapes. You begin by crossing Jomsom, one of the main towns in the region, before starting a climb to Batase Bhanjyang (3,435 m), also nicknamed the "windy pass". From this point, you enjoy a panoramic view of the Upper Mustang, the Thorong La, Tilicho, Nilgiri and Dhaulagiri.
Due to the sustained winds blowing over the pass, you continue your route by descending towards Phalyak. You then follow the long walls that protect the village fields, before reaching Pakling and then Kagbeni.
At Kagbeni, take the opportunity to taste a Dal Bhat, a traditional Nepali dish particularly appreciated in this region.
Ascent to Muktinath
Kagdebi → Muktinath
After an early breakfast, you begin an ascent of nearly 1,000 meters through the arid and almost desert-like landscapes of Mustang. Throughout the journey, mountains outline themselves on the horizon, offering beautiful panoramas of this region of Népal. Along the way, you cross paths with hikers and pilgrims from India heading to Muktinath, an important Hindu pilgrimage site. Upon arrival, you set out to discover this religious site, where you can notably observe the famous eternal flame, fed by a natural gas spring. The name Muktinath combines the terms "Mukti", which means liberation, and "Nath", designating a sacred place. This temple is thus considered a place of liberation of the soul in the Hindu tradition.
Throughout your visit, you may also encounter hermits, Hindu pilgrims and Tibetan merchants, bearing witness to the spiritual and cultural dimension of this place.

Himalayan Panoramas and Crossing through Mustang
After breakfast, you start your bike ride at around 8:30 AM. First, you take the trail leading to the Muktinath temple, then turn left towards the Gyu La pass (4,030 m). The track climbs gradually through the mountainous landscapes of Mustang, offering beautiful views of Dhaulagiri, Tukuche, Nilgiri and, to the south, the Annapurna massif. Once at the top of the pass, take time to admire the panorama before starting a descent of approximately 1,000 meters towards the Kali Gandaki river. You then continue your route towards the village of Tetang, nestled behind imposing hills.
You climb up to Chusang, where a lunch break allows you to regain your strength and recharge your electric bike batteries. In the afternoon, you resume your ride for an additional 2 hours of biking until Samar, where you spend the night.

Crossing of Nyi La Pass
You continue your itinerary through the landscapes of Mustang, on a rocky path towards Bhena. The gradual climb leads you to a pass marked by multicolored Tibetan prayer flags. After a break for tea and time to admire the view over a small village, you resume your journey towards the Nyi La pass (4 000 m). You then begin the descent towards Ghemi (3 570 m), a traditional village with narrow streets and large houses. After lunch, you join Tsarang by recently developed gravel roads, which wind through mountainous landscapes. This large village is characterized by its dwellings separated by stone stacks.
You then discover the Tsarang Dzong, a historic building constructed in 1378. This imposing five-story monastery, associated with the Gelugpa Buddhist school, houses an important library, as well as statues and prayer halls, witnesses to the religious and cultural heritage of Mustang.

Lo Manthang, the famous
Today, you continue your cycling itinerary towards Lo Manthang, taking a trail that leads you to a small river. You then begin a gradual climb through a rocky environment, following the Thuling Khola. After passing through the canyon, you continue cycling through mineral landscapes reminiscent of Tibet. Your route crosses vast desert plains up to the Lo La pass (3,960 m), from where you enjoy a panorama of snow-capped peaks. From this viewpoint, you can also see the fortified city of Lo Manthang, which reveals itself amidst the arid landscapes of Mustang. You will also be able to visit the monastery located inside the city, whose history dates back to the 13th century, and discover part of the religious heritage of this region of Népal.

Chogo La Pass
Departing from Lo Manthang, you continue your cycling adventure towards the Chogo La pass. Your day begins with a long climb to the pass, where you enjoy a panoramic view of the mountainous landscapes of Mustang. You then begin a descent on rocky trails, mainly used by hikers, heading towards Lo.
You continue your itinerary to the village of Ghami, where you spend the night.

Return to Jomsom
You board your vehicles to reach Jomsom, traveling through the mountainous landscapes of Mustang.
Along the way, you stop in Chussang for a quick lunch before continuing your journey to Jomsom.
Upon arrival, you settle into the comfortable Om's Home, where you spend the night. This establishment also offers live music concerts, an opportunity to enjoy a pleasant musical atmosphere after your day of travel.

Free day in Kathmandu
Take advantage of this day to explore Katmandu at your own pace or opt for a guided tour of the main sites of the Nepali capital.
For a more immersive experience, we also invite you to participate in a workshop with a traditional craftsman. Depending on your preferences, choose from various activities: cooking classes, sculpture, painting, music and many others. An opportunity to discover local skills and share a pleasant moment, accessible to the whole family. In the evening, a driver will pick you up at your hotel to take you to a farewell dinner with other participants, a chance to share your memories and close your trip to Népal in a warm atmosphere.

This visa can be obtained in two ways:
On arrival (visa on arrival): available at the main entry points, notably Tribhuvan International Airport in Kathmandu and certain land border crossings. It is strongly recommended to complete the application form online before departure to facilitate procedures on site.
Online before departure: via the official online visa system of the Nepalese government (online visa application), allowing you to obtain prior authorization to present upon arrival.

passport information
flight details
the address of your first accommodation in Nepal
A digital confirmation or a reference code may be requested when passing through immigration or at the visa issuance counter upon arrival.
Special permits for trekking areas
Certain regions of Nepal require additional permits in addition to the tourist visa:
the TIMS (Trekkers' Information Management System): mandatory for most trekking itineraries,
national park or conservation area permits (e.g., Sagarmatha for Everest, Annapurna Conservation Area),
restricted zone permits for certain specific destinations such as Mustang, Dolpo, or Manaslu.
These permits are generally obtained in Kathmandu or Pokhara from the relevant offices.
Health and vaccinations
No vaccine is mandatory to enter Nepal, except in case of arrival from a country at risk of yellow fever. However, several vaccinations are strongly recommended by health authorities:
hepatitis A and B,
typhoid,

rabies (especially for extended stays or in remote areas),
Japanese encephalitis (depending on areas and season).
Preventive antimalarial treatment may be recommended for certain low-altitude regions (Terai). It is advisable to consult a doctor or international vaccination center at least four to six weeks before departure.
