Arrival in Kathmandu
Upon your arrival at Kathmandu's Tribhuvan International Airport, you are welcomed and assisted by our local representative. A short transfer by car takes you to your hotel, where you can settle in and enjoy some rest after your journey.

Discovery of Kathmandu's Heritage
Discover the main historical and cultural sites of the Katmandou valley, between temples, royal palaces and Nepalese traditions. Your visit begins at Katmandou Durbar Square, in the heart of the old city. This large square bears witness to the history of the Nepalese capital. You discover the ancient royal palace Hanuman Dhoka, guarded by a statue of the monkey god Hanuman, then Kumari Bahal, the residence of the living goddess Kumari. You also admire the statue of Kala Bhairab, a formidable divinity fighting demons.
These deities hold an important place in the spiritual life of Nepalis, who come to pay them homage before heading to the lively markets of Asan Tole and Indra Chowk. You continue your discovery with the stupa of Swayambhunath, surrounded by several temples and perched on a hill overlooking Katmandou.
Finally, head to Patan, located south of Katmandou. Formerly called Lalitpur, "the Beautiful City", it is considered the cradle of Newar arts and architecture. Renowned for its craftsmanship, particularly its wrought metal objects, Patan perpetuates a traditional know-how that is found throughout the valley.

The road to Pokhara
After breakfast, you head towards Pokhara, Nepal's second major tourist destination. Located in the heart of a vast subtropical valley, the city has developed with the rise of trekking and now attracts many travelers. The Pokhara Valley is home to several lakes, including Phewa Lake, situated to the southwest of the city. A true hub of local tourism life, it offers a pleasant setting to relax and enjoy nature. You can take a walk or cycle along its shores, or rent a small rowboat to enjoy the peace and tranquility of the lake.

The visit of the Pokhara valley
You set off early in the morning heading to Sarangkot, located on the heights of Pokhara, to admire the sunrise over the Himalayan range. A privileged moment to contemplate the mountains and take beautiful photos. You then return to your hotel for breakfast before setting off to discover the main sites of the Pokhara valley. Your visit begins with Davis Falls, then continues with Gupteshwor Cave and the International Mountain Museum, dedicated to the world of the Himalayas.
To end the day, enjoy a boat ride on Phewa Lake, an opportunity to appreciate the tranquility of the lake and the surrounding landscapes.

Chitwan "heart of the jungle"
In the morning, you head towards Chitwan, located in the Terai region, at the foot of the Himalayas. Its name means "heart of the jungle," referring to the natural environment of this region of Népal. Upon arrival, you settle into your hotel before attending a preparatory briefing for the afternoon safari.

Safari and jungle walk with elephants
Your day begins early in the morning with a walk with the elephants, before heading out for a 4x4 safari in the afternoon, to discover the wildlife of the Chitwan park. Located in the plains of southern Népal, this territory is home to a dense tropical jungle where many animal species live. Among them are the one-horned rhinoceros, the royal Bengal tiger, leopards, elephants, crocodiles, pythons and the black bear of the Himalaya. The park also welcomes a rich diversity of birds, with nearly 450 species, offering beautiful opportunities for observation in the heart of Nepali nature.

Excursion in the city of Kathmandu
You will discover the main cultural and religious sites of the Kathmandu valley, witnesses to the wealth of Nepali heritage. Your day begins with a visit to Pashupatinath, one of the sacred temples of South Asia, dedicated to the Hindu god Shiva. On the banks of the river, you can observe Hindu cremation rituals, which recall those practiced in Varanasi (Benares), in India. You continue with the famous Boudhanath stupa, one of the main Buddhist sanctuaries in the region. Surrounded by numerous monasteries and Tibetan shops, this place testifies to the importance of Buddhism in local culture. Finally, you reach Bhaktapur, an ancient medieval and royal city, primarily inhabited by the Newar community, predominantly Hindu. You discover its historic squares and remarkable monuments, witnesses to its rich architectural and artistic heritage.
Night in Bhaktapur.

Namo Buddha Monastery
The road to Dhulikhel only takes an hour, but to reach the Namo Buddha monastery, it requires 3 hours of walking. According to Buddhists, Namo Buddha is one of the most sacred places in Népal. You can attend prayers, and then have lunch with the monks of the monastery. An authentic experience and certainly unique.

The beautiful village of Balthali
Your day begins with a sunrise over the mountain range, followed by a hearty breakfast before setting off to explore the surroundings of the Namo Buddha monastery. This spiritually charged place is associated with a Buddhist legend according to which Buddha, moved by the distress of a tigress and her starving cubs, offered his own body to save them.
After this visit, you begin a gradual descent to a suspension bridge, then an easy climb takes you to the village of Balthali. A final walk of approximately 30 minutes allows you to reach your hotel. The surroundings of Balthali are distinguished by their abundant vegetation, comprising notably forests of rhododendrons, magnolias and sal trees. This preserved nature is also home to a wide variety of birds that you will be able to observe throughout your trek.

Hiking from Khopasi to Nagarkot
After breakfast, you start a descent on foot to Khopasi, then continue your journey by vehicle towards Nagarkot. Renowned for its panoramic views of the Himalaya mountains, Nagarkot offers a pleasant setting to admire Nepali landscapes. On clear days, you will be able to enjoy beautiful views of the surrounding peaks, particularly at sunrise or sunset.

The Visit to Changu Narayan Temple
Early in the morning, you set off for a short walk to admire the sunrise over the mountains. A peaceful moment to contemplate the landscapes before returning to your hotel for breakfast. You then continue your day with a hike to the temple of Changu Narayan, dedicated to the Hindu god Vishnu. Considered one of the oldest temples in the Kathmandu Valley, this religious site is inscribed on the UNESCO World Heritage List and testifies to the historical and spiritual richness of Népal.

A digital confirmation or a reference code may be requested when passing through immigration or at the visa issuance counter upon arrival.
Special permits for trekking areas
Certain regions of Nepal require additional permits in addition to the tourist visa:
the TIMS (Trekkers' Information Management System): mandatory for most trekking itineraries,

restricted zone permits for certain specific destinations such as Mustang, Dolpo, or Manaslu.
These permits are generally obtained in Kathmandu or Pokhara from the relevant offices.
