Description

Manang, situated along the Marsyangdi River on the Annapurna trek route, is one of Nepal's most isolated villages. The Manang Valley remains an active trading hub for yak herders and salt merchants. Opened to trekkers in the 1970s, the Manang Valley quickly became one of the flagship destinations for trekking in the Annapurnas. Surrounded by towering peaks such as Pisang Peak, the Chulu Range, Gangapurna, Tilicho Peak, Kangaru Peak, and Throng Peak, it offers breathtaking landscapes.

The small town has its own cinema, shops, post office, and numerous lodges and restaurants.
