Description:
Jomsom or Jomosom is a village in the Annapurna mountain range in Nepal. It is the capital of Mustang district in the Dhaulagiri zone.
The town serves as a departure and return point for treks along the Kali Gandaki river valley. This trek can be considered an integral part of the "Annapurna Circuit."
Flight: For $80–90, Jomsom has daily flights to and from Pokhara. Due to unpredictable weather, most flights operate in the morning with airlines such as Yetti Airlines or Tara Airlines.
Jeep: From Pokhara you can reach Jomsom via a winding road. However, the track becomes rough during monsoon season due to flooding and landslides.
Bus: Daily services from Pokhara. The station is located in the southeast part of New Jomsom.
On foot: The new red ACAP trail, bypassing the new road, is now considered one of the finest sections of the Annapurna Circuit and will take you through old villages and valleys to Kande via Ghasa, Tatopani, Ghorepani, Poon Hill and Ghandruk.
