Immerse yourself in the heart of the jungle, travel long distances without disturbing the wildlife, and experience an unforgettable expedition on the back of Asia's largest land mammal, the Asian elephant.

Your elephant will be your greatest ally against the forest's dangers: Tigers, Rhinoceroses, Leopards, Buffalo—no wild mammal will dare approach you. Since elephants are indigenous to the region, local wildlife has naturally adapted to coexist with them. You'll easily be able to get close to the animals of Chitwan National Park. Remarkably agile, these pachyderms will guide you across the Churia Hills, along the flooded plains of the Rapti River. More than just a forest, it's a mosaic of colors amid lush vegetation that will unfold before your eyes during your journey.

The elephant is an exceptionally calm creature, and for your peace of mind, a skilled guide (mahout) will pilot this powerful animal.

"As an experienced rider, this is an entirely different sensation. We move forward slowly but surely, the pachyderm calm and docile, in perfect harmony with its master. Fluid in movement and silent in step, only the forest's symphony—hundreds of birds, amphibians, and reptiles—animates this labyrinth of green. Seated comfortably, I'm cradled by five tons of Nembo (a blend of Nepal and Dumbo).

Through the dense foliage of a shorea robusta, a shadow catches my attention. Motionless and silent, it watches us. Within our caravan, several elephants trumpet and grunt. Something is about to happen. Finger on the trigger, our Mahout disengages the safety of his aging Lee-Enfield rifle. The pachyderms are nervous, difficult to control.

Suddenly, with a swift movement, the beast emerges from its vegetative shelter. The dark form is not alone. The light filtering through the canopy reveals the creature: a wild boar and her piglets!"
